What are some good books with kickass female leads?

Rachel Caine's Weather Warden Series is great. I agree about Bella. I just want to throttle the girl. Why are you letting them go on about keeping you safe like you are some piece or pottery. Give them a slap for heavens sake! I like Rose in Vampire Academy but I think it went a little downhill after book 3.

Left Car Speaker Doesn't Work Unless I Push on the Head Deck?

I recently bought a '91 corolla and noticed only the right speaker was working. Sometimes the left would kick in when I go over speed bumps, etc, but always kicks back in when I push really hard on the stereo knobs. Is it a problem with the wiring? How can I fix it? Thanks for your feedback in advance :)

My guitar amp won't work!?

It's a small Rock Town Model 20 amplifier. It's been in the closet for many years and all it seems to burst out is static and noise, no matter how you turn the knobs on both the guitar and the amp. Tried messing with the cords, to no avail. Anyone know what might be wrong with it? I have no idea how much it'll cost to get it fixed.
