Is a Richelle Mead book talk/signing worth going to...?

...I like going to book talks/signings but have not read any books by Richelle Mead. In the library today, I see that she'll be at the Salt Lake City Library this Wed., 12/15/10...not sure if I should go. She's here for her most recent Vampire Academy book. If I go, which one of her books should I buy?
