Should I read The Hunger Games?

A girl named Katniss volunteers to go in place of her sister for The Hunger Games, where children fight to the death against each other. Vampire Academy series a favorite with me alongside The House of Night series I recommend this book. Yes romance is a big factor in this book. The main characters are Katniss, Petta, Gale, and Primrose. The bad parts are hard to find I would say the development the love triangle imminent from the beginning was alright and if you don't like gore this might be too much for you.
