Will replacing the screws on my guitar lower its value?

I have a '72 blonde telecaster and the original screws are still on but are rusted to pieces on the scratchplate and i was just wondering if it would lower its value. I was also considering replacing the tone and volume knob as the chrome has worn off, the same question applies. I have no intention of selling the guitar at all at the moment so the aesthetics would only be for me but if in the future i wanted to i wouldn't want lower its value.
