What are some good fantasy books?

Mercedes Lackey has some urban fantasy out that's old but pretty good in my opinion. She has the diana tregarde series about a witch or guardian as she puts it in modern times. Ans a bard series about elves and bards living in modern times. Also she has one book about a female shaman in modern times as well. She was doing modern fantasy long before the others were.
